CAAP Annual Oration Contest on Thursday, February 26th.
The Concerned African American Parents (CAAP) will have its annual Oration Contest Thursday, February 26th.  Students who are interested in participating must contact Edward Samuels to announce their participation by February 6th either by email: ESamuels@lbschools.net or by phone (562)997-8693.

Ida B. Wells' said, "The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them." Our orators will explain how Wells' quote is relevant to current social or political movements, and explain how young people of the 21st century can positively impact our communities through the collection and distribution of information.

We are looking forward to another great evening of skilled oratory from our very talented and bright students.
